Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions as ground pork in Steps 1 and 2, rolling occasionally, 4-5 minutes, and cooking until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground pork in Steps 1 and 2, rolling occasionally, 5-6 minutes, and cooking until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes.

  1. 1

    Form the Meatballs

In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 1 Tbsp. water. Rest, 1 minute.

After 1 minute, add ground pork and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse). Form mixture into eight equally-sized meatballs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meatballs

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add meatballs to hot pan and roll occasionally until browned all over, 2-4 minutes.

Add 1 Tbsp. water, teriyaki glaze, and sesame seeds and gently stir to coat. Cover and cook until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While vegetables cook, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bok Choy

Remove any discolored outer leaves from bok choy and trim ends. Cut into 1" strips.

  4. 4

    Cook Vegetables and Finish Dish

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover and cook until broccoli begins to turn bright green, 2-3 minutes.

Uncover and add bok choy, sesame oil, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir occasionally until broccoli and bok choy are tender, 4-5 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping meatballs with sauce from pan and garnishing vegetables with crispy noodles. Bon appétit!
