Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Mince garlic.
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tsp. olive oil, panko, Parmesan, a pinch of salt, and 1/2 tsp. seasoning blend (reserve remaining for sauce). Set aside.Pat chicken dry. -
2 Cook the Chicken
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add chicken, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Add garlic to hot pan and cook until fragrant, 30-60 seconds.
Add marinara, 1/2 cup water, pesto, 1 tsp. reserved seasoning blend (remaining is yours to use as you please!), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, add pasta. Stir occasionally until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Top with mozzarella, then panko mixture. -
4 Broil the Meal
Place pan under hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted and bubbly and panko is toasted, 2-3 minutes.
Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on meal as topping may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot; use an oven mitt. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
