Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly. Mince garlic

    Cook The Beef

    "Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, ¼ tsp salt and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Add Vegetables

    Add shallot, peas and garlic and cook 2 minutes.

    Add Sauce and Pasta

    Add sauce, pasta, and garlic salt and bring to a simmer. Add cheese, cover, and cook until melted, 1-2 minutes.
