  1. 1

    Start the Vegetables

Place pepper and onion mix in provided tray and spread into an even layer.

Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While vegetables bake, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Add Pork and Finish Vegetables

Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Add pork, half the sofrito sauce (reserve remaining for garnish), tomato sauce, and adobo seasoning to tray. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and pork is heated through, 8-10 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven and stir to combine.

While vegetables and pork bake, continue recipe.

  3. 3

Heat Rice, Prepare Cilantro, and Finish Meal

Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice and a pinch of salt. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.

While rice microwaves, stem and tear cilantro leaves.

To serve, top pork mixture with remaining sofrito sauce. Garnish with cilantro. Bon appétit!
