Place a medium nonstick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans ¼ tsp salt and a pinch of pepper to hot pan and stir occasionally until tender, 8-10 minutes. If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.
Make The Sauce and Finish The Dish
In the same pan over medium heat, add 2 tsp olive oil and mushrooms. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-6 minutes.
