Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

    Bake Sausage and Prepare Ingredients

    Break up sausage into bite-sized pieces and evenly divide between both provided trays. Top each tray evenly with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-18 minutes.

    While sausage bakes, coarsely tear spinach.

    Prick tomatoes all over with a fork. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    Add the Sauce and Pasta

    Evenly divide spinach and tomatoes between both trays. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until spinach is wilted, 3-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven and gently press tomatoes with a fork.

    Evenly divide cream base, pesto, grated cheese, pasta, corn, and lemon n herb seasoning between both trays. Stir a pinch of salt into each tray until combined. Cover both trays with foil. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Finish the Meal

    Bake both trays covered in hot oven until pasta is heated through, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Uncover trays and stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top pasta with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
