Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Cook the Sausage
Turn oven on to 425 degrees, Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.Evenly divide sausage between both provided trays. Break into smaller pieces, then top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 12-16 minutes. -
2 Add the Pasta
Remove trays from oven and crumble sausage into smaller pieces.
Evenly divide pesto, Asiago, pasta, cream base, and a pinch of salt and pepper between trays. Top both trays evenly with pieces of butter. Cover both trays with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays covered in hot oven until warmed through, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir vigorously to combine.Carefully remove trays from oven. Stir each tray to combine.To serve, top pasta with ricotta mixture and Parmesan. Bon appétit!
