Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Bake the Sausage
Place sausage in provided tray and break up into bite-sized pieces. Evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.
Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-18 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. -
2 Add Enchilada Sauce and Bake Meal
Drain any excess liquid from tray. Tray will be hot! Use caution.
Stir in enchilada sauce (to taste) until combined.Bake again uncovered in hot oven until sauce is heated through, 3-5 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Stir in softened cream cheese until combined.While sausage bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Toast Ciabatta, Assemble Slaw, and Finish Meal
Separate ciabatta and place cheese slices (to taste) on cut-sides of top half.
Place ciabatta, cut-sides up, directly on oven rack.Toast in hot oven until cheese is melted and bottom halves are light golden-brown, 3-5 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While ciabatta toasts, coarsely crush pepitas.In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, dressing (to taste), lemon juice, and pepitas. Set aside.To serve, top bottom ciabatta half with guacamole (to taste), sausage, then top half. Bon appétit!
