Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging.
Combine rice, corn, 2 cups water, and a pinch of salt in provided tray.Top with shrimp and sprinkle seasoning blend over entire dish.If using chicken or jumbo shrimp, follow same instructions. -
2 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until water is absorbed and shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 28-32 minutes.
If using jumbo shrimp, follow same instructions. If using chicken, bake uncovered in hot oven until water is absorbed and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 26-32 minutes. -
3 Finish the Dish
Transfer cooked shrimp to a plate. If using jumbo shrimp or chicken, follow same instructions.
Stir cream cheese and half the cotija cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) into dish until cream cheese melts and rice is creamy.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping with shrimp, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and remaining cotija cheese. Bon appétit!
