Trim ends off green beans.
In anmixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, panko, half the ginger (reserve remaining for green beans), ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.
Form mixture into two equally-sized loaves and place on prepared baking sheet.
Form and Bake Loaves
Brush tops of loaves with half the glaze (reserve remaining for baked loaves). Bake in hot oven, 15 minutes.
Carefully, remove from oven and brush with remaining glaze. Bake until loaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10 minutes.
While loaves bake, cook rice.
Make the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice and 1½ cups water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until rice is tender, 18-20 minutes.
Remove from burner.
While rice cooks, make beans.
Cook the Green Beans
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
Add green beans and cook, 1 minute.
Add ¼ cup water and ¼ tsp. salt. Cover, and cook until tender, 4-6 minutes.
Stir in remaining ginger and cook until aromatic, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. Garnish with *sesame seeds
