Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

If using ground turkey, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 11-13 minutes.

1 Cook the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice, garlic salt, and 1 1/4 cups water to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Set aside and cover to keep warm.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into 1" pieces.
Finely chop water chestnuts.Trim and thinly slice green onions. -
3 Form the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine panko, soy sauce, and 1 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.
After 1 minute, add ground pork, water chestnuts, ramen pork base, and a pinch of salt. Stir until thoroughly combined.Form pork mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs. -
4 Start the Meatball Mixture
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
Add meatballs to hot pan. Roll occasionally until browned all over, 3-5 minutes.Meatballs will finish cooking in a later step.Reduce heat to medium-low. -
5 Finish Meatball Mixture and Finish Dish
Add broccoli, teriyaki glaze, and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, cover and stir occasionally until broccoli is tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Uncover; stir often until broccoli and meatballs are coated, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with meatball mixture and sauce from pan. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
