Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Broccoli

    In provided tray, combine broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Spread broccoli into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken

    Coarsely crush crackers.

    In a mixing bowl, combine crushed crackers, shredded cheese, bacon, and softened cream cheese. Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven.

    Stir pesto into broccoli and push to one side. Tray will hot! Use a utensil.

    Add chicken to now-empty side of tray and evenly top with cream cheese mixture.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    To serve, stir softened butter into broccoli until melted and combined. Bon appétit!
