Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Chicken 165° F |

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Combine spread and ⅓ cup water in provided tray until completely combined. Top with pasta, pepper and onion mix, half the cheese, ¼ tsp salt and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

    Add Chicken and Seasoning

    Place chicken on vegetables and cover evenly with taco seasoning, ¼ tsp salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Bake The Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Rest chicken 5 minutes. Top with remaining cheese, tortilla strips and cilantro leaves. Bon appétit!
