Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook the Chicken

    Pat chicken breasts dry, and season both sides with a pinch of salt. Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken breasts to hot pan and cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from burner. Tent chicken with foil. While chicken cooks, prepare ingredients.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Peel and halve shallot. Cut into ¼" slices. Coarsely crush croutons.

    Cook the Green Beans

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add green beans and shallot and stir often until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes. Add garlic salt and ¼ cup water and stir occasionally until green beans are tender, 3-5 minutes. Remove from burner.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with dressing and croutons and garnishing green beans with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
