Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Halve lime. Stem cilantro, reserving whole leaves. Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

    In provided tray, combine pork, taco seasoning, mirepoix base, and 2 Tbsp. water.

    Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until pork is heated through, 3-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir to combine and set aside covered.

    Add corn and 1 tsp. water to second provided tray.

    Microwave uncovered until corn is heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir dressing (to taste) into corn. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    To serve, fill tortillas with pork mixture, then corn mixture. Squeeze lime halves over tacos to taste. Garnish with cheese, cilantro, and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Halve lime. Stem cilantro, reserving whole leaves. Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

    In provided tray, combine pork, taco seasoning, mirepoix base, and 2 Tbsp. water.

    Cover tray with foil and place tray on a baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until pork is heated through, 12-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir to combine and set aside covered.

    Add corn and 1 tsp. water to other provided tray.

    Place tray again on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until heated through, 5-8 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir dressing (to taste) into corn. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    To serve, fill tortillas with pork mixture, then corn mixture. Squeeze lime halves over tacos to taste. Garnish with cheese, cilantro, and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
