Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground beef in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 22-25 minutes.

If using ground pork, follow same instructions as ground beef in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 24-26 minutes.

Start the Green Beans
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
In provided tray, combine green beans, garlic salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven until green beans start to soften, 15 minutes.Green beans will continue baking in a later step.While green beans bake, continue recipe. -
Add the Meatballs
Finely crush saltines.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crushed saltines, mayonnaise, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form into 6 equally-sized meatballs.After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and remove foil. Push green beans to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Top green beans with bacon.In now-empty side of tray, add meatballs and top with cheese. -
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 18-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, top meatballs with dressing and pickles. Garnish green beans with sour cream. Bon appétit!
