Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Follow same instructions as ground turkey in Step 1, stirring occasionally until browned and chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, follow same instructions as ground turkey in Step 1, breaking up until no pink remains and beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground pork, follow same instructions as chicken in Step 1, breaking up until no pink remains and pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

Cook the Turkey
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey and taco seasoning to hot pan. Break up turkey until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.While turkey cooks, drain black beans.Separate leaves of lettuce for cups. -
Add the Beans and Corn
Drain excess liquid from pan, if desired.
Stir corn, beans, and a pinch of salt into hot pan. Cook until beans and corn are heated through, 2-3 minutes.If pan is dry, add 2 Tbsp. water, if desired. -
Add the Cheese
Add cream cheese, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir until cream cheese is melted and fully combined, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. Stir in shredded cheese until melted. -
Assemble Lettuce Cups and Finish Dish
On a clean work surface, fill lettuce cups evenly with turkey mixture. Top with salsa (to taste) and tortilla strips.
Layer two lettuce cups for extra crunch and structural support. You should have about 5-6 cups total.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
