Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Add chicken to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Place diced peppers, corn, 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Stir to combine and push vegetables to one side of tray.

    Evenly top with cream cheese. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Add Chicken and Bake Meal

    Pat chicken dry. Season all over with taco seasoning. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.

    Place chicken in empty side of tray.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 23-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Break up chicken and stir until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Warm Tortillas, Make Slaw, and Finish Meal

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel. If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    Microwave until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix and dressing (to taste). Set aside.

    To serve, fill tortillas with chicken mixture, slaw (to taste), cheese, and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
