Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

    Start the Fries

    Cut potatoes into ¼" fries and pat dry.

    Place fries on prepared baking sheet. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper.

    Spread into a single layer. Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Peel shallot. Slice thinly into rounds.

    Pat shrimp dry and cut into 1/2" pieces.

    In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, Asian garlic, ginger and chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), mayonnaise, garlic sesame sauce, and white portions of green onions. Set aside.

    Assemble the Shrimp

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Push fries to one side of sheet and evenly top with sesame seeds.

    Separate rolls. Place bottom rolls on empty side of sheet and evenly top with shrimp mixture.

    Roast Meal and Toast Ciabatta

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While meal roasts, spray cut side of top rolls with cooking spray.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven and push bottom rolls to one side. Place top rolls, cut side up, on empty side. Sheet will be hot! Use. a utensil.

    Roast again in hot oven until rolls are toasted, fries are golden-brown, and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While meal roasts, continue recipe.

    Pickle Shallots and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine vinegar, 1 Tbsp. water, and shallots. Microwave uncovered until tender, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 5 minutes.

    After 5 minutes, or once cool enough to handle, drain any excess liquid.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping shrimp with shallots, green portions of green onions, spring mix, and top roll. Bon appétit!
