To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |

Customize It Instructions

  • If using 16 oz. shrimp, follow same instructions as 8 oz. shrimp

  • If using diced chicken, follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

  • If using whole chicken breasts, pat dry and, on a separate cutting board, cut into 1” dice. Follow same instructions as above.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Combine rice, edamame, slaw mix, seasoning blend, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spread into an even layer.

  2. 2

    Add the Shrimp

Pat shrimp dry. Place shrimp on rice and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Bake the Dish

Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 18-20 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Stir in rice vinegar and soy sauce. Garnish with boom boom sauce (to taste), wonton strips, and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
