Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using 20 oz. sliced pork, follow same instructions as 10 oz. sliced pork, working in batches if necessary.

If using shrimp, pat dry and season all over with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. Follow same instructions as sliced pork in Step 3, cooking until shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using steak strips, follow same instructions as sliced pork in Steps 2 and 3, stirring occasionally until steak strips reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes.
Remove from burner. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Drain in a colander. Set aside.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into 1" pieces.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic.Pat sliced pork dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Cook the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add sliced pork and garlic to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes.
Remove from burner. Transfer to a plate. Rest, 3 minutes.Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.While pork rests, continue recipe. -
4 Cook the Broccoli
Return pan used to cook pork to medium heat and spray with cooking spray.
Add broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, white portions of green onions, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.Uncover and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. -
5 Make Sauce and Finish Dish
Add half the pasta cooking water (reserve remaining for adjusting consistency, if necessary), cream base, pork mixture, pasta, and cheese. Stir until combined and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.
If sauce is too thick, add remaining pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
