Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Cook the Meal
If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Place snow peas in one section of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave, 3 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Combine snow peas, pulled pork, curry seasoning, green curry sauce, garlic salt, sambal (use less if spice-averse), and sour cream in one section. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging and place in empty section of tray. Cover again with a damp paper towel. Microwave until warmed through, 2-4 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave. Halve lime. Squeeze lime half over dish (to taste), and garnish with peanuts. Bon appétit!
If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Place snow peas in one section of tray. Place tray on a baking sheet and bake uncovered in hot oven, 5 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Combine snow peas, pulled pork, curry seasoning, green curry sauce, garlic salt, sambal (use less if spice-averse), and sour cream in one section. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging and place in empty section of tray. Cover with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until warmed through, 15-20 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Halve lime. Squeeze lime half over dish (to taste), and garnish with peanuts. Bon appétit!
