- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |

Customize It Instructions
-
If using ground turkey, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach minimum internal temperature, 30-35 minutes.
-
1 Prepare the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
In provided tray, combine rice, piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and peas.Push to one side of tray and evenly top with butter. -
2 Form the Meatloaves
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chile peppers (use less if spice-averse), and half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for topping). Set aside.
In another mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko, 2 Tbsp. water, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.Form beef mixture into 2 equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" in height.Press your thumb into center of each oval and place half the cheese mixture into center of each meatloaf. Close meat around cheese and re-form into ovals. Form a tight seal so cheese stays inside meat.Place meatloaves in empty side of tray. Cover rice side with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake half-covered (rice covered, meatloaves uncovered) in hot oven until rice is heated through and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Uncover rice and drain any excess liquid. Evenly top meatloaves with remaining shredded cheese.Bake again uncovered in hot oven until cheese is melted, 2-4 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.To serve, top meatloaf with crema. Bon appétit!
