If using diced chicken thighs, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.
-
If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Toast Biscuits and Prepare Green Onions
Halve biscuits and separate.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat.Add half the plain butter (reserve remaining for carrots) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until melted, 20-30 seconds. Add biscuits, cut-sides down, and toast until slightly browned, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer biscuits, cut-sides up, to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve. While biscuits toast, trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate. -
2 Cook the Carrots
Peel, trim, and cut carrot into 1/3" slices on an angle. If carrot is larger than 1" in diameter, halve before slicing.
Return pan used to toast biscuits to medium-high heat.Add carrots and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated and carrots are tender, 3-5 minutes. Uncover and add honey, garlic and parsley seasoning, remaining plain butter, and a pinch of salt. Stir often until combined and carrots are coated, 3-4 minutes.Remove from burner. While carrots cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with half the savory seasoning (reserve remaining for gravy) and a pinch of pepper.
Place another medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Transfer chicken to another plate. Wipe pan clean and increase to medium-high heat. -
4 Make Gravy and Finish Dish
Add roasted garlic & herb butter to hot pan. Stir occasionally until melted, 30-60 seconds.
Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains.Stir in 1/2 cup water, cream cheese, chicken base, remaining savory seasoning, and white portions of green onions until combined. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir constantly until gravy is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes. If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping biscuits with chicken and gravy. Garnish with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
