Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Broccoli

    Place broccoli in provided tray and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil and potato spice seasoning. Spread into an even layer and cover with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken

    Pat chicken breasts dry and top with 1 tsp. olive oil. Season both sides with barbecue seasoning (use less if spice-averse) and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and push broccoli to one side. Place chicken in now-empty side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake Meal, Crisp Bacon, and Make Hot Honey Butter

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Place bacon on towel-lined plate and spread into an even layer.

    Microwave until crispy, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, hot honey (to taste), red pepper flakes (to taste), and mustard. Microwave uncovered until melted, 10-20 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir vigorously to combine.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, top chicken with hot honey butter and garnish broccoli with crispy bacon. Bon appétit!
