Recipe Steps
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging.
Combine rice, corn, onion, seasoning blend, and chicken base in bottom of provided tray.Push to one side of tray. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. water and top with butter. -
2 Add the Steak
Place steak on empty side of tray. Season with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Top with cheese.

3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until cheese is melted and steak reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Spread sour cream on steaks and top with crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
