Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Quarter potatoes.

    Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until tender, 6-8 minutes.

    While potatoes microwave, hold romaine heart at root end and thinly slice.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    Form the Patties

    Form ground beef into four equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with seasoned salt.

    Toast Rolls and Cook Patties

    Separate rolls and spray cut-sides with cooking spray.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat.

    Add rolls, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan.

    Toast until slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.

    Transfer rolls to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until slightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Top patties with cheese. Cover until melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While rolls toast and patties cook, continue recipe.

    Cook Potatoes and Finish Dish

    Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 4 tsp. olive oil.

    Add potatoes to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned, 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Stir in garlic pepper and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom roll with patty, pickles, romaine, dressing, then top roll. Bon appétit!
