Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Core tomatoes and cut into 1/4" dice.

    Pat trout dry. Season flesh side with garlic and parsley seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Start the Vegetables

    Place green beans on 1/3 of prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer on their side.

    Place tomatoes in center of sheet and spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven until green beans are bright green, 7-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    Finish the Vegetables and Trout

    Place trout on empty side of sheet and evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Roast in hot oven until green beans are tender and trout reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While vegetables and trout roast, continue recipe.

    Make the Rice Pilaf

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.

    Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in chicken base, lemon n herb seasoning, a pinch of salt, and almonds until combined. Fluff rice with a fork.

    Make Bruschetta and Finish Dish

    Transfer tomatoes to a heat-safe mixing bowl. Tomatoes will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Stir in softened butter until combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping trout with bruschetta. Bon appétit!
