Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Start the Broccoli

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry. Set butter on counter to soften.

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    In provided tray, combine broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 Tbsp. water, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Add the Chicken

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Push broccoli to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning and a pinch of salt.

    Add chicken to now-empty side of tray. Top with 1 tsp. olive oil and massage oil into chicken.

    Bake Meal and Heat Sauce

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese and 1 tsp. water. Microwave uncovered until melted, 15-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Vigorously stir in lemon juice, softened butter, and a pinch of salt and pepper until melted and combined. If butter does not melt, microwave again, 10-15 seconds. If too thick, add water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached. Set aside.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and stir pesto into broccoli.

    To serve, top chicken with sauce and crispy onions and garnish broccoli with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
