Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add zucchini, pepper and onion mix, lemon n herb seasoning, and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for pork) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner.While vegetables cook, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Pork
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork and remaining garlic salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner and stir in chimichurri (to taste) until combined.While pork cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Heat the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Stir in piri piri seasoning (to taste), a pinch of salt, and 1/2 Tbsp. softened salted butter until combined. Fluff rice with a fork.While rice microwaves, continue recipe. -
4 Make Crema and Finish Dish
In a mixing bowl, combine creme fraiche, pesto, and 1 Tbsp. water.
Serve family-style, garnishing pork and vegetables with tzatziki and crema. Bon appétit!
