Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim ends off snow peas and halve.

    Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces.

    Start the Beef Lo Mein

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Add steak strips and snow peas to hot pan. Stir to combine and cook, 1 minute.

    Steak strips will finish cooking in a later step.

    Finish the Beef Lo Mein

    After 1 minute, add noodles to hot pan. Stir occasionally until noodles are heated through and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Add Sauce and Finish Dish

    Add yuzu dipping sauce, black pepper sauce (to taste), and garlic sesame sauce to hot pan. Stir often until combined and noodles are coated, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping lo mein with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
