You Will Need
Large Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Beef 160° F |
Ground Turkey 165° F |
Ground Pork 160° F
Prepare the Ingredients
Trim ends off green beans.
Season ground beef with ¼ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper and form into eight meatballs, about the size of ping-pong balls.
Cook the Meatballs
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Place meatballs in hot pan and stir occasionally until browned all over, 2-3 minutes.
Cook the Green Beans
Add green beans to pan.
Stir occasionally until beans are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.
Finish the Dish
Stir in sauce, brown sugar, rice, and red pepper flakes (to taste). Stir until combined, 1-2 minutes.
