Dishes: they're terrible. They water-log and burn your hands, they break your nails, and they're never really “done.” (You're always going to use more plates!) So welcome this meal not only for the fresh broccoli, succulent chicken, and melty cheese: welcome that you'll only use one pan to make the whole thing. We can't save you from taking out the garbage or cleaning the tub, but we can help with at least one annoying chore. You're welcome.

Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry, and season all over with a pinch of pepper.
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add diced chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Transfer chicken to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. While chicken cooks, cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. -
Cook the Broccoli
Return pan used to cook chicken to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli, onion, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan and stir occasionally, 1 minute.Add 3 Tbsp. water. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-5 minutes. If broccoli needs more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. -
Broil the Skillet
Stir cream base, chicken, seasoning blend, and 1 Tbsp. water into hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, remove from burner. Top evenly with panko, then cheese.Place pan under hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on pan as skillet may burn easily. -
