Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Mince garlic.

    Pat diced chicken dry, and season with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Start the Skillet

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken, garlic, and potatoes to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken is lightly browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Finish the Skillet

    Stir peas, demi-glace, and 1/2 cup water into pan.

    Bring to a simmer. Once simmering, stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in butter, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.
