Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

"Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef to hot pan. Season beef with half soy sauce. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Transfer ground beef to a plate." While beef cooks, thinly slice green onions on a bias.
Wipe pan clean and place over medium high heat, add 1 tsp of oil. Add cabbage to hot pan, season with a pinch of salt and cook until tender, 2-3 min. Transfer to plate with beef.
Place large non stick pan over medium high heat. Add orange sauce, remaining soy sauce, mirin and ½ c water. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 1 min. In a bowl combine
corn starch with ½ c water. Stir to combine. While sauce is simmering, stir in cornstarch slurry. Cook until sauce is thickened and coats the back of a spoon, 1-2 min.
Add noodles, beef and veg back into pan and stir to coat with sauce. Add red pepper flakes to taste. Stir continuously to coat noodles in sauce and until heated through, 2-3 min.
Plate beef noodles, topping with crispy wontons and green onion.
