Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Bake the Steak Strips and Vegetables
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Leave cream cheese on counter to soften.
Separate steak strips into a single layer and pat dry.Combine peppers and onion mix and steak strips in provided tray. Spread into a single layer and top with a pinch of salt and pepper.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes. -
2 Add the Sauce
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt, cornstarch, and demi-glace until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes. -
3 Make Cheese Sauce and Finish Meal
While meal bakes, combine 2 Tbsp. water, softened cream cheese, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Microwave until cream cheese has melted, 60-90 seconds.
Remove from microwave and stir in mozzarella (reserve a pinch for garnish) until creamy.Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest, 3 minutes. Place steak and vegetables in tortillas and garnish with cheese sauce, crispy onions, red pepper flakes (to taste), and reserved mozzarella. Bon appétit!
