If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

If using diced chicken thighs, pat dry. Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 28-30 minutes. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.

If using Impossible burger, bake uncovered in hot oven until burger reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 18-20 minutes.

1 Start the Italian Sausage and Peppers
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.In provided tray, break up sausage into bite-sized pieces and spread into an even layer. Add bell peppers and 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven until bell peppers are tender and sausage browns, 15-20 minutes.While sausage and peppers bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Sauce
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, marinara, garlic pepper, pesto, a pinch of salt, and 2 Tbsp. water.
Cover with a paper towel and microwave covered until warm, 1-2 minutes.Remove from microwave and stir until smooth.Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in sauce and pasta until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, garnish with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
