If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

1 Cook the Sausage Mixture
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add diced peppers and onions to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly tender, 3-4 minutes.Add Italian sausage. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner.While sausage mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Toast the Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet.
Place under hot broiler until flatbreads are slightly browned, 3-4 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as flatbreads may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from broiler. -
3 Assemble the Flatbreads
Spread marinara evenly on flatbreads. Evenly top with sausage mixture, then cheese. Flatbreads will be hot! Use caution.

4 Broil Flatbreads and Finish Dish
Place under hot broiler until cheese is melted, 3-4 minutes.
Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as flatbreads may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from broiler.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping flatbread with pesto. Slice flatbreads, if desired. Bon appétit!
