Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients and Cook The Pasta

    Cut broccoli into bite size pieces.

    Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 12-13 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.

    Cook The Pork

    Separate sliced pork into a single layer and pat dry. Season with 1/4 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add sliced pork to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Broccoli

    In the same pan over medium heat add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli, garlic salt, and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 5 minutes. Uncover, and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes

    Make The Sauce

    Add cream, demi, and mustard and bring to a simmer. add pasta and pork and stir to combine.
