Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Add chicken to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon, pat dry. Add steaks to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut potatoes into 1" pieces.

Trim ends off beet, peel, and cut into 1/2" dice. Beets are delicious, but tend to stain. Save beets for the end when preparing ingredients, and clean your cutting board after preparing.

Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning, half the Italian seasoning (reserve remaining for vegetables), and a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

    Start the Vegetables

Place carrots and potatoes on one half of prepared baking sheet. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and remaining Italian seasoning. Spread into a single layer on their side.

Place beets on empty side of sheet. Toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer on their side.

Roast in hot oven, 8 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven. Stir minced garlic and parsley into potato-carrot mixture. Sheet and vegetables will be hot! Use a utensil.

  3. 3

    Add Chicken and Finish Vegetables

Push beets to 1/3 of sheet, leaving center empty. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place chicken in center of sheet and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.

Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 13-18 minutes.

Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove from oven.

  4. 4

    Assemble Salad and Finish Dish

In a heat-safe mixing bowl, combine arugula, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. olive oil, beets, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

To serve, top chicken with softened butter. Garnish vegetables with cheese. Bon appétit!
