1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into ¼"-thick fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into fries. Spread into a single layer and top with Parmesan.Place garlic and 1 tsp. olive oil on a piece of foil and form a foil pouch around garlic. Place garlic pouch in corner of prepared baking sheet.Roast in hot oven until garlic is tender and fries are lightly browned, 25-28 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.While fries and garlic roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Stem and coarsely chop thyme.
Trim green beans.Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Cook the Steak and Green Beans
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp. olive oil and steak to hot pan. Sear until browned, 2-3 minutes per side.
Transfer steak to second prepared baking sheet. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.Place green beans on empty side of baking sheet. Top with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into green beans. ** GREEN BEANS NEED MORE TIME, 5-8 MINUTES ADDITIONAL, CAN IT BE WRITTEN IN THE RECIPE STEPS SOMEWHERE?**Spread into an even layer on their side.Roast in hot oven until green beans are bright green and steak reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 7-9 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.While steak and green beans cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Sauce
Return pan used to cook steak to medium heat. Add 1 tsp. olive oil and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Stir, 30 seconds.
Add demi-glace, 1/4 cup water, half the butter (reserve remaining for shrimp). Stir often until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner and add stir in half the creme fraiche (reserve remaining for shrimp). -
5 Cook Shrimp and Finish Dish
Pat shrimp dry.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tsp. olive oil and shrimp to hot pan. Cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side. Add roasted garlic, thyme, remaining butter, and 1/4 cup water. Gently mash garlic and stir constantly until sauce is smooth, 30-60 seconds.Remove from burner. Stir in green portions of green onions and remaining creme fraiche. Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with sauce. Bon appetit!
