Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach minimum internal temperature, 25-30 minutes.

    Start the Mushrooms and Meatloaves

    In one provided tray, combine mushrooms, barbeque seasoning (to taste), 1 tsp. olive oil, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Spread into a single layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While mushrooms bake, in a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic salt, panko, and a pinch of pepper. Form mixture into 4 equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place meatloaves in second provided tray and evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove mushrooms tray from oven.

    Top Meatloaves and Prepare Potatoes

    Evenly top meatloaves with mushrooms and BBQ sauce. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    In now-empty tray, combine mashed potatoes, cream cheese, spinach, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir vigorously to combine and spread into an even layer. Cover tray with foil. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

    Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Finish the Meal

    Bake in hot oven (mashed potatoes covered, meatloaves uncovered) until mashed potatoes are heated through and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover mashed potatoes and vigorously stir in softened butter until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top meatloaf with mushrooms and BBQ sauce from tray. Bon appétit!
