Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Broccoli

    In provided tray, combine broccoli, blackening seasoning, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Spread into an even layer. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Brisket and Potatoes

    Drain brisket and separate slices.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Push broccoli to one side of tray.

    Add brisket to one empty corner of tray.

    Add mashed potatoes to other empty corner of tray.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and brisket is heated through, 14-15 minutes.

    Melt Cheese and Finish Meal

    After 14-15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven.

    Top mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese.

    Top brisket with BBQ sauce.

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until cheese is melted and bacon is crispy, 3-5 minutes.

    To serve, garnish brisket with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
