Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine rice, 1 tsp. olive oil, cashews, pepper and onion mix, and a pinch of salt and pepper in provided tray until completely combined. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Spread into a single layer on one side of the tray.

    Add The Pork

    Place pulled pork in empty side of tray. If using 16 oz. pulled pork, follow same instructions. If using ground beef or Beyond Meat Sausage, break into small clumps and follow same instructions.

    Finish The Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and pulled pork is heated through, 15-17 minutes. If using 16 oz. pulled pork or Beyond Meat Sausage, follow same instructions. If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until ground beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-22 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Stir rice vinegar into rice mixture. Top pork with teriyaki sauce and garnish with wontons. Bon appétit!
