Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Trim ends from green beans. Pat chicken dry, and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.

2 Cook the Chicken
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken to hot pan and cover pan. Cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from burner. While chicken cooks, cook green beans.

3 Cook the Green Beans
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add bacon to hot pan and stir often until crisped, 3-4 minutes. Str in green beans and 2 Tbsp. water. Cover, and cook until green beans are tender and water is evaporated, 5-7 minutes. If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. Season with ½ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Remove from burner.

4 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping green beans with goat cheese and crispy onions and chicken with a dollop of butter. Bon appétit!
