Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork

If you received raw pasta, bring 8 cups water to a boil in a pot. Once boiling, cook until al dente, 8-13 minutes. Remove from burner. Drain pasta in a colander/strainer and set aside. Wait until last step to add pasta and stir to combine.

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add ground pork and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse) to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

While pork cooks, combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup water in a mixing bowl. Set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add cornstarch mixture to pan with pork and stir until combined.

  2. 2

    Add the Vegetables

Add bok choy and slaw mix to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bok choy is bright green and tender, 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the Noodles and Sauce

Stir noodles (or pasta cooked in Step 1. if you received raw pasta), pho base, sweet chili sauce, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water into hot pan until combined. Bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, 2-3 minutes.

If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Remove from burner.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles (or pasta cooked in Step 1. if you received raw pasta) with wonton strips. Bon appétit!
