Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Break up sausage until no pink remains and sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side. Add protein to meal as desired.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Halve tomatoes.
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.
Uncover and add tomatoes and a pinch of salt. Stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. -
3 Add the Pasta and Sauce
Add cream base, cheese, pesto, mirepoix base, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until cheese melts and sauce is smooth, 2-3 minutes.
Add pasta and stir until coated. Cover and stir occasionally until pasta is heated through, 2-3 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Toast Breadcrumbs and Finish Dish
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Add butter to hot pan and melt, 30-60 seconds.
Stir in breadcrumbs and garlic and parsley seasoning until combined and toasted, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with toasted breadcrumbs. Bon appétit!
