Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F
  1. 1

    Start the Green Beans

Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

Combine green beans, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in provided tray.

Cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

While green beans bake, make meatloaves.

  2. 2

    Add the Meatloaves

In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic salt, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Form into two equally-sized loaves.

Carefully, remove tray from oven. Push green beans to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place meatloaves in empty space in tray.

  3. 3

    Bake the Meal

Cover green bean side of tray with foil, leaving loaves uncovered. Bake half covered in hot oven until green beans are tender and loaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 30-35 minutes.

While meal bakes, combine apricot preserves and mustard in another mixing bowl.

Carefully remove tray from oven. Transfer meatloaves and green beans to a plate. Slice meatloaves, if desired, and top with apricot-mustard mixture. Combine green beans with butter and top with cheese and pecans. Bon appétit!
