Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Customize It Instructions

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Add chicken to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

1 Start the Potatoes
Prick potatoes all over with a fork.
Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until slightly tender, 5-7 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Using the flat side of an object, press down gently to smash each potato until 1/2" thick.Place potatoes in provided tray and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Potatoes will be hot! Use a utensil. Wipe bowl clean and reserve.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.While potatoes bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Steaks
In reserved bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion jam, and cheese. Set aside.
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning.Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add steaks to hot pan. Sear undisturbed until browned, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner.After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and push potatoes to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Transfer steaks to empty side of tray and evenly top with cheese mixture. -
3 Finish Meal and Dress Arugula
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until potatoes are browned and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 6-9 minutes.
Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine arugula, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest steaks, 3 minutes.Stir softened butter into potatoes until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, garnish steak with arugula. Bon appétit!
