Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    prepare the ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Break broccoli into smaller pieces. Combine broccoli , onions, 2 tsp olive oil, half the garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Push to one side of tray.

    add the meatballs

    Combine pork, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form into 6 meatballs, and place in other half of tray.

    finish the dish

    Bake in hot oven 23-25 minutes until pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees and broccoli is tender. Combine cream cheese, cheese spread, and 2 Tbsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 1 minute. Garnish meatballs with cheese sauce and crispy onions. Garnish vegetables with red pepper flakes to taste.
